At our SecurU office we have a live demo of an outdoor high-speed 27x optical zoom camera that tours selected presets, this particular camera can be configured to pan from a start to a stop point, be manually controlled by a guard or operator or can be set on a tour of multiple priority presets. Here are three images of the optical zoom capabilities of this camera in a live environment.
This PTZ camera can be viewed live inside our office with client software on our laptops that is connected to our digital video recorder (DVR) and also viewed live with the ADTVR go software on our iPhones and Android smartphones.
While the PTZ camera is touring presets the camera can be manually manipulated with the smartphone remotely to move to a desired location and zoom in on an object or event; after a timeout period the camera will continue the tour to ensure that critical events are being monitored.
