As a Technician, you’ll be our clients’ go-to resource for all things related to their security systems throughout consultation, installation and training.
If you like to get into the nitty gritty of things, can play well with others, and are ready to take on a new challenge, you’re the right fit. Bonus points if you have a dazzling smile and charming personality.
The Day to Day:
- Work closely with Senior Technicians to learn the ins and outs of residential security systems and the fundamentals of our technology and programs.
- Provide clients with guidance on their system, including product recommendations, and managing all set up.
- Technicians work closely with clients to providing training and answering any questions they may have about their new systems.
What You Bring:
- You’re comfortable using power tools.
- You can handle the mobility that comes with the role, including the ability to lift equipment/tools up to 20 lbs and climbing ladders/scaffolding.
- You can work face-to-face with clients and can stay calm under pressure.
- You’re organized and tidy – you can stick to a schedule, keep clients in the loop on any changes, and would never dream of leaving their home or business in a mess before you leave.
- You prioritize keeping your skills sharp through courses and following the latest in industry news.
Plus Points:
- You’re comfortable installing, troubleshooting and repairing CCTVs, burglar alarms, access controls and similar systems.
- You have the basics of network cabling covered.
But don’t worry, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
The Final Details:
- Hourly rate for Junior Technicians: $25-$27
- All team members are required to have a valid Ontario driver’s license.
- Police check is required.
- Training will be provided for tools such as Kantech, ADC & DSC PowerSeries.
