Above are four images from a recently installed 10 megapixel bullet camera at a car dealership. Starting from the top left, this image is the field of view of the camera that is located 180+ feet from the building.
One of the great benefits of a megapixel IP camera is the pixel density of the image which when specified properly for the installation will allow the digital zoom function of the camera to look closer into specific details within the image by zooming in on an object digitally; while still recording the entire field of view.
The top right image is the license plate detail of the vehicle entering the parking lot on the left and the bottom right and left images are additional information collected from the full view which is the sales rep walking from a car on the property and the plate detail of the car behind the man walking.
With a traditional IP VGA network camera, 1.3, 3.0 & 5.0 Megapixel IP camera or analog camera in your security system, you would not have the ability to zoom into the image on video playback to achieve these details of an incident from this far away.
These images are sample images only that have been released to us from our customer, any details within the images are not a result of a crime, the details from these images are for educational purposes only
